Ethical Aspects of Exposome Research

Closing date: 31 July 2020

This project aims to identify and evaluate the ethical and societal aspects of Exposome research. The Exposome has been defined as the totality of internal and external exposures individuals experience over their lives and how those exposures affect health. The candidate will work in the Department of Medical Humanities of the Julius Center at the University Medical Center Utrecht. Supervisors of this project will be Prof dr Annelien Bredenoord, Prof dr Roel Vermeulen and Dr Karin Jongsma. The project is funded by the EU H2020 project: EXposome Powered tools for healthy living in urbAN Settings (EXPANSE) (PI: prof. Roel Vermeulen) on the 9 large-scale projects forming the European Human Exposome Project.
