Online symposium: 17 Sept 2021
Under the title ‘”You had a risk contact!” Ethical and social dimensions of digital contact tracing in the corona pandemic’, the final conference of the ELISA project in the form of an online symposium will take place on Friday, 17.09.2021 – 10:00-14:00.
In addition to the presentation of the project results by the ELISA team, the program includes exciting lectures by scientists from various disciplines. Among them are the lectures of:
- Dr. Tereza Hendl, medical ethicist at the University of Augsburg on mitigating vulnerability in digital pandemic surveillance
- Dr. Lucie White, philosopher at Leibniz Universität Hannover on Beyond Privacy: The Case for Centralized Digital Contact Tracing
Finally, we are planning a panel discussion with Dr. Hanna Göbel, Dr. Joschka Haltaufderheide, Dr. Dennis Krämer and representatives of the Robert Koch Institute, in which we hope to have a lively exchange on the sensitivity of the storage of personal data as well as on current and future developments of digital technologies.
