Call for abstracts: Australasian Association of Bioethics and Health Law Conference 2021

On behalf of the Program Committee, we invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at the Australasian Association of Bioethics and Health Law Conference which will be held for the first time ONLINE in 2021. This conference will provide a forum for discussion on a wide variety of topics in bioethics and health law in the context of clinical practice, research and public health. We welcome submissions from all disciplinary backgrounds and encourage submissions from students.

To assist with programming, during the submission process you will be asked to identify the conference stream that best suits your presentation. Where you feel your submission does not fit one of the streams below you can select ‘Other’.

  • Clinical Ethics
  • Public Health Ethics
  • Health Law
  • Teaching Ethics
  • Research Ethics
  • Empirical Ethics

Although priority will be given to abstracts that broadly fit within the conference theme, all high quality abstracts will be considered. All abstracts will go through a peer review process undertaken by the conference committee. The committee will allocate abstracts to the program taking into account the quality of each abstract and the balance of the program.
