Early Career Advisor Program

The American Society for Bioethics + Humanities’ Early Career Advisor Program gives individuals early in their career in bioethics or the humanities the opportunity to present a paper or project to more experienced members of ASBH. There will be an opportunity for advisors and authors to discuss their project/paper over a 1-1.5 hour meeting at the annual conference in San Diego. The expectation is that this discussion will assist early career members of ASBH to advance toward publication or completion of a specific paper or project that is significant for their career. Application forms and CVs must be submitted by August 1, 2014.

ASBH also seeks volunteers to help review applications and identify possible advisors. Volunteers will be asked to review applications between August 4 and August 13, 2014, to determine the eligibility of applicants and to recommend advisors for eligible papers/projects.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Brianna Wixted by July 1. If you have any questions about the Early Career Advisor Program, please contact Ana Iltis.
